The Facts

Safety & Training
All R'n'R staff are highly skilled professionals. Our river guides
are only accredited after undergoing our rigorous whitewater skills
and safety training programmes and are carefully selected for their
"people" skills.
Equipment
R'n'R choose the highest quality equipment to suit our tough North
Queensland conditions.
Souvenirs
The R'n'R crew will catch all the thrills and excitement of your
day with great action photos and an entertaining video (Tully River
only). A wide range of clothing including Rojo designs and other
gifts are available to remind you of your adventure.
What To Bring
Your ticket, swimming costume, lace up shoes (that will get
wet), towel, change of clothes, water resistant 15+ sunscreen, a
cap or visor that can be worn under your helmet and some money for
a drink and souvenirs after rafting. A limited number of spray jackets
and hire shoes are available for a small extra charge.
Age
Limit
• The minimum age
for white water rafting is 13 years.
• The minimum age
for calm water rafting is 6 years.
• There is no maximum
age limit.
Responsibility
Any adventure travel involves an element of risk. Each participant
must accept responsibility for their own safety and their property.
Passengers will be asked to sign a liability release form before
their trip. It is recommended that passengers take out their own
travel insurance before participating.
